Homeopathic treatment of autoimmune thyroiditis: case-report

Resumo

Prescription of constitutional medicine – Silicea terra – and organotherapy prepared

from thyroid to a case of autoimmune thyroiditis resulted in gradual normalization of

serum values of thyroid and hypophysis hormones and full disappearance of

autoantibodies in nine months. This case was followed-up for one year and a half and it

remains stable. The order in which cure is processed in diseases involving the immune

system is discussed against Hering’s laws.
